Contrary to popular belief, hospice is not a place. You or your loved one can receive hospice care in the comfort of your own home, a nursing facility, or assisted living facility. Hospice is individualized to each patient’s needs, and care can be provided by the hospice team anywhere from once a day to a couple of visits per month.
