What Services Are Provided?

At Legacy Hospice, we take care of a patient’s physical, social, spiritual, emotional, and mental well-being. To do this, we have a strong team that works together to provide a variety of services to achieve the best possible care at the end of life. Our services include:

  • Family Counseling: We offer counseling for all members of the family, as facilitating communication is important for both the patient and their loved ones during end-of-life care.
  • Medical Care: We have Board Certified doctors and nurses trained in providing advanced and modern techniques in end-of-life care for hospice patients.
  • Financial Guidance: We offer financial guidance to help you navigate the complexities of insurance coverage, Medicare and Medicaid services, and the multitude of options and alternatives available to you to pay for hospice. We know this is a stressful time so we are here to help you through this crisis.
  • Pain Management: We create an individualized treatment plan for each patient to provide the best management when pain and end-of-life symptoms seem too much to bear.
  • Social Services: Social workers are available to provide assistance in helping family members communicate, coordinate paperwork and insurance issues, establish advance directives, and address any other social issues that may arise during these types of difficult situations.
  • Spiritual Services: We provide spiritual services so that everything a patient needs to be comfortable at the end of life is achieved. Our spiritual team provides spiritual support for every patient and their values and beliefs.
  • Support and Bereavement Groups: Our hospice services do not end after the patient passes away. We provide support services and professionals to help family members with the grief process.
  • Therapies: We offer music therapy, pet therapy, massage therapy, and aromatherapy to enhance the quality of life for a patient with a life-limiting illness.
